Native Californian children's author Eva Camille Holland's new book Change validates the emotions that may arise in our children during this time of covid-19 and the struggle for social justice.
Each chapter also introduces positive coping skills and activities for all ages. As a former Early Childhood Educator, she knows the importance of inclusive literature that supports children's cognitive as well as their social and emotional development. She strives to create stories that can support children and their families with challenging behaviors and societal stressors, to help them navigate our complicated and beautiful world with bravery, kindness and wonder.
When she is not writing, Eva can be found teaching yoga and meditation, supporting infants and families as a postpartum doula, or spending time with her four year old nephew hiking and exploring the magical outdoors.
Her new children's books, Let's Take Turns Like They Do in Jazz, and Migrate are coming soon.
